For the money this trap exceeded my expectations. It does break a clay on occassion but that is to be expected in my opinion. I bought this for informal clay practice and it does the part. Very easy to set-up out of the box. You'll need to add $75 or more to purchase a quality deep-cycle marine battery then $35 to re-charge the battery (re-charger) so keep that in mind. I never practice straight away shots like most personal traps are designed for; rather I prefer to stand 30-40 yards to the side out in front and practice side shots or high overhead shots and this trap did very well for that. It throws the clays far and fast. Pros: consistent, throws far and fast, easy to operate Cons: breaks clays on occassion
Easy to setup and run, has a cheesey lanyard on the safety pin but does not affect operation. Needs a tool storage for the two little wrenches. Pros: Easy setup works great Cons: Cheesey lanyard on safety pin
